Only in India people demand and ask (not) for awards. That's not the surprising part, but it is the awarding to the one it was demanded for?
Why don't I demand bharat ratna for Super Stat Rajinikanth, why you might ask?, it is just to increase my hits from google.

Understanding Tamil Nadu's Politics
How does one know who is in power in Tamil Nadu? There is an easy way to find out. All you have to do is to go on the Mount Road (Anna Salai) and if you are allowed to take an "U" turn in front of Anna Arivalayam (DMK's Head Office), then it is DMK in power. Otherwise, it is AIADMK in power.
Isn't simple?
